Dining Room Table…Check

Since my dining room is taking longer than I would like (my fault) I’ll have to give you little peeks until the big reveal…

021 I used Rustoleum Black Gloss paint on the top and feet. To add a little fun, I decided to paint the pedestal silver. I love the way it turned out…unfortunately, I still have 3 leaves to paint!

eeeeewwwww, I am so excited to see what you have done with this table! I love that you made it super fresh (no distress). It has the glam that i think was originally intended for it's legs. I JUST scored a similar table TODAY! I wasn't sure which way to go with it, but your silver & black is GREAT! If I steal your idea, I promise to share credit :-)))) Thanks for the inspiration, and enjoy your sexy table. Great job!

Hi, love it! I am considering painting my table black as well, but am worried because it is such a high traffic area and that the paint won't fare well. Does the paint seem scratch resistant? Did you do anything in particular to ensure that the table is more scratch resistant? Also, any tips for how to use paint in cans and get it so smooth without any drip marks?
