Take… a Look… at Me…

  It’s been a big yawn here at chez lemonDrop… I figure it was time for a good ol’ fashioned makeover…

Here’s a reminder of what the bench looked like just a couple days ago…

Now that’s a sexy bitch!!

The gold is Rutstoleum metallic gold and it went on soooo smooth…like butta… The pink is Sherwin Williams Exuberant Pink, if I do this again I will use gray primer first…it took 3 coats and it could really use one more…

I love it…love love love it!!

I have to say this project was pretty darn easy, and quick…of course there’s not much fabric.  Kristy’s tutorial said to spray with water as you paint.  I did not do this, God did not grant me patience so I just slapped the paint on.  I’m not sure if the results would have been different, might depend on the fabric you’re painting…

That turned out completely fabulous!!! I love the color combo that you used...gold is my favorite for the moment and pink is an all time favorite, win/win! It is such a fun piece and now it's so fantastic! Bravo, girl!
